For the European Championship Adidas has opted for another monochrome home top for the German national team. However, this year’s home shirt sees more decoration compared to previous tournaments.
This year’s tournament sees Adidas change their much-loved Climalite technology for an updated tech called Aeroready which is already used across a range of the Adidas gear.
This technology not only promotes airflow and wicks moisture away from the skin just like Climalite, but it also ensures that the garment dries completely once the sweat has been absorbed from the surface of the skin.
And on the right side of the chest the Adidas badge is seen in black. Woven across from this is the Germany national crest on a black and white embroidered patch. Above this are the four stars representing the country’s successful history in international games.
Across the jersey there is a black pin striped detailing which features faded lines, almost like paint brush strokes to bring the plain white base to life. The cuffs of the sleeves have a black, red and gold striped hemline and the crew neck has been outlined in black.
Along the sides of the home shirt the three Adidas stripes are situated in black fabric.
